Great scenic course. White tees play more like senior tees. If I were to play again I would play from blues.

A very challenging track especially from the tips. I feel a slope of 124 is on the lowside. The course is very playable, although fairly tight. The scenery is great and in the fall, why drive to Maine? My one complaint is that the cart paths are naarrow, and the signage from hole to hole should be clearer. Also, I would recommend taking a cart. There is a sister course in Boston similar to this called Granite Links. There is a nice mix to the layout, and every club in the bag will be used. My favorit hole is #13. It is a short par 4 looking down, and everything is in front of you. It is a gorgeous hole, if you are into your agronomy.

ok course. Mostly good holes. Some poorly designed holes too.

Played this course on a Tuesday morning in mid-May 2010 for the first time. I cannot improve on the previous review regarding the course scenery, fairways and greens so check it out. It was just a beautiful course and I'd love to play here in the fall (with a camera)for the foliage views alone. Because the course is over hill and dale and in a quarry you definately need a cart unless you are in great shape or a billy goat. We played from various tee boxes; the whites, blues and unmarked tee boxes in between because the whites tended to be too close to the reds. I'd play from the blues in the future eventhough I'm a 25 handicapper. My only gripe was cart access at the clubhouse. Maybe I don't know the traffic pattern but we were confused or naive as to how to get the cart out of the holding area to the first tee. Does everyone backup? Otherwise a really great course and highly recommended.
