BEWARE! NOT A KID FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT!!! STAY AWAY! IRRESPONSIBLE ADULTS SUPERVISING YOUNG CHILDREN! A 7 year old relative of mine was in a serious golf cart accident at Hidden Creek Country during a golf and tennis camp after care. No adults will give any other information other than the golf cart tipped over. No one will give a name of who was in charge of her and other children in after care that were injured that day. The general manager, Eric Levin is saying he and his staff have been instructed not to give any information related to the accident and he now won't answer simple questions regarding insurance reimbursements. This is totally unacceptable that these adults won't at least explain how this happened. The 7 year old has told most details that adults refuse to discuss. A 15 year old was driving the kids but regardless if this was legal or not was not allowed during after care. This child has lingering physical & mental scars from this & noone at Hidden Creek is concerned. Click on my Yelp profile photo to see several photos of these aweful injuries. This has caused the child and the family stress & no family should face this treatment and legal costs just to find out what happened to the child. It's unbelievable. STAY AWAY! IT'S A GOOD OLD BOYS ESTABLISHMENT PROTECTING ONE ANOTHER INSTEAD OF THE CHILD. THEY ALSO DIDN'T REQUIRE PROPER PAPERWORK FOR THIS CAMP OR AFTERCARE ACCORDING TO ERIC LEVIN.
I cannot stress enough to anyone how disappointing Hidden Creek Country Club is. I strongly recommend against anyone joining as a golf member. Let’s start with the course. It is overly crowed. If you are joining a private club to get away from the crowds, this is not the place for you. Weekends are ridiculous and the geniuses at the pro shot schedule men’s and women’s tournaments for weekends. And the slow pace of play is legendary. Plan on 5 hours – longer on tournament weeks. The course itself is a hilly old-style, uninteresting parkland course, that is usually in just OK shape—a lot of bare fairways out there. Play it twice and its boring. Moreover, the driving range is on the other side of the course that you have to drive a golf cart to; its also between two fairways and I have almost been hit several times both playing and trying to get to the driving range. The food, or should I say, the menu sucks. Greasy Garbage. The clubhouse: a very old 70s building that has seen much better days. The management: let’s just say that every month we received over charges that continued to happen regardless of our phone calls and emails. Bottom line: Bush League course, facility and management. It benefits from being close to the city, but you are better off going to a nearby muni, like Brambleton, that is twice the course and a fraction of the price without the steep monthly payments
