Excellent course with drop dead scenic views. It's favorite of mine...
Nice golf course in the Smokey Mountains so it is rolling but pretty open. Played first part of May and it was easy to get tee times. They offer special rates Sunday after 2 pm and all day Monday & Tuesday 18 holes for $18. Regular rate was $32 for 18 with cart. Greens were in great shape. Agree with previous post...great golf course and friendly staff.
Rarely do I play a course poorly and still give it a great review, but Laurel Valley will fall into that rare criteria. Typically if I play bad there is a reason for it, almost always being the condition of the course. The course maintainance here was pretty good though and the greens were fast, but somewhat hard to read with some slight breaks. As many people mentioned, the scenery and the course layout is Laurel's greatest strength. A hidden course with great views of the mountains and many unique or at least interesting holes. The value of $25 to walk twilight weekday is well worth it, definately a bargain. They have logo balls for the collector like myself, another plus. It's a fun course to play and would highly reccommend it to anyone in the area. It's no surpise why virtually ever review given has been positive. You won't be disappointed. Overall rating an A.
A beautiful little course out in the country. Not crowded -- staff is very nice and laid back. Great views of the Smokies, course challenging but not overly so. No complaints, a good value at $25.
