My husband and I live nearby and play this course fairly frequently. It has had recent management changes. The previous and current owners are turning this course around. Scenery is beautiful, fairways in nice shape now, and greens are very nice, best greens around here. The bunkers are the downfall of this place but I think that is their next project. We love going to this course. The staff is very friendly and prices are pretty cheap.

The course is under new management and starting to upgrade the course. While the course is a long way from being up to par they have made some improvements. One of the managers, Chris, was super nice and helpful. I am told they are getting ready to over seed and fertilize the fairways. The greens were in good shape and should be great in about a month or so. I had a pleasurable round. It will take some time but I believe the course will be one of the better courses around in a year or two. Rome wasn't built in a day either. I would recommend this course to try it out. I think you'll find it improved and getting better.

Along with the golf the owners are a joke They are as unprofessional as it gets I guess the owners son didn't like the way I looked or something and charged me 10 dollars extra then my friends me not knowing this since I went to bathroom and out on course asked my friends how much they paid I went back upset. Jim the guy behind counter basically told me I was lying and if I didn't like it to never come back wow really
Then while we was playing they followed our group the whole time maybe thinking we was going to steal dune dirt who knows but the golf course is horrid and the workers owners are also
Can't wait till this dump shuts down and someone who knows how to treat people and maintain a golf course will buy it half price

Apparently Mr. Platt and his group have vision issues. Or maybe there was, on the day they played, a need for fairway grass to be cut. We played the course yesterday, June 23,2010, and found it challenging as well as interesting. If you can place your tee shots in or near the generous, for the most part, fairways, you can score well and enjoy your round. The greens are very well maintained and if you know how to read greens, hint to Mr. Platt, they are very fair. The course seems to be a bit understaffed as far as maintenance is concerned. The bunkers are in desperate need of help but that would be my only strong concern. For a $20 senior rate it is a bargain. I haven't played the other courses in the immediate area but plan to do so to get a perspective of comparison among those available to the public. My opnion is try it and see for yourself.
