Elmwood course was in great shape in July '12 when I played. There were maintenance people everywhere doing everything imaginable to keep the course beautiful. The holes were well represented with yardage signs. Holes were also well protected from other holes by large trees that could eat your tee shots if they headed towards them. Holes were also very straight, not much to negotiate. One water hazard on the course and several well placed sand bunkers. The bunkers were in great shape and well maintained.
The course needed water coolers for the patrons and different colored flags denoting the part of the green that the pin placement is at.
Kudos to the grounds keepers for an amazing course!
