Nice layout and greens are a decent speed. A lot of out of bounds to the left of tee boxes but plenty of places to bail to the right. The first hole is a bit of a bear to start with considering no driving range. A few quirky holes but mostly straight forward. Island green par 3 is nice except for the drop area. They encourage you to use drop area but you may be better off teeing up shot 3 from the tee box. Would be 4 out 5 stars if people fixed their ball marks. Greens really take a beating but fairways seem to be in fairly good shape most of the time. Worth a 45 minute to 1 hour drive IMO.

I played this course yesterday for the second time this year. In early spring, the fairways were not in good shape. Yesterday I found no improvement and the tee boxes had a lot to be desired. The price was outragious at $47 for a course in this bad. The layout of the course still remains one of my favorites in the area.
This course is one of the prettiest you'll play. It's extremely well maintained. I found one of the staff at the pro shop unfriendly, the rest of the staff were very friendly. The course is not penal but it does have teeth. You have to concentrate all the way around. Course is much better with the two new holes on the back nine replacing the two holes that left you scratching your head after playing them. This is a pretty course, Check out the seventh hole from the second tee, very scenic! There's alot of good courses in Montgomery County and Bella Vista is among the best.
played this summer and was pleasantly surprised at the layout. it was in very good shape and everyone working there was really nice. i dont know what is is with courses in the area, but do they need to build these cookie cutter neighborhoods on top of the course? that is my only real gripe with the course. legit island green on the back 9 is a kneeknocker even with a wedge in hand, really cool hole
Beautiful course and well maintained. Challenging but well sized fairways not to penalize you.
