my letter I sent to the owner of the golf course. Sir,I would be remiss if I did not give you feedback on my round of golf at your facility. I played there several years and had a very enjoyable experience. The golf shop was full of equipment, the bathrooms were clean, and the course was in great condition. This year was a much different experience. My dad selected your course due to me requesting it from the last time we played. We parked and walked around the back of the building, only to see a grill that looked as though it had been used a dozen times and not been cleaned, I hope no one eats anything off it, it will give them food poisoning. We arrived at your facility and walked into a practically empty pro shop. I few clubs for sale, no shoes, balls, hats, gloves of any quantity. I had to use the bathroom, and upon going up to the urinal, I could smell urine and the toilets looked as though they had not been cleaned in a very long time. I paid my fee, and asked for a bucket of golf balls. The cashier told me he did not have any. A gentlemen in the lazy boy car stepped up and said he would go get me some. He returned with the most hideous, dirty balls I have ever seen in my twenty years of golfing. Over two thirds of the balls had caked mud on them and I could not even hardly see the white on the ball. I didn’t think much about it until I got to the, what you all call a driving range. Now I see why the balls looked that way. There were dead, burnt trees in the valley, and no grass to speak of to hit from. It looked like a hay field. I went to the bar to get some chips and a drink. I asked for a glass of ice, and there was none. Wow, how crazy is that. The course was in terrible condition. I understand the conditions of the grass due to lack of water. But the trails were in terrible shape, at one point my father has to tell me to slow down because I was jerking him around to much, and I was on the trail. There were terrible ruts in the ground where there obviously has been no maintenance. The bridges have a 4 to 5 inch gap on either side and it is almost like you r going over a street curb to get up on the bridge. The greens were the only thing that were in decent shape. All in all my experience was not a pleasant one.I am not writing you to be mean. I am simply passing along a guests experience in the hopes it will help you fix the deficiencies your property currently has and maybe I will get to come back and have a pleasant experience in the future.
