Disastrous Day at the Links. The staff seemed to have woken up on the wrong side of the bed, radiating misery and rudeness like a toxic cloud. The grounds crew, in a display of utter disregard for golfers, littered the course with machines and drainage work, making it feel like navigating a construction site rather than a serene golfing haven. They didn't even bother to move aside for us, forcing us to skip a hole and endure their disdainful glares as we trudged around their obstacle course. And don't get me started on the "Starter." This guy could give a masterclass in how not to treat customers. He gave our team and the team ahead of us a hard time for the heinous crime of being ready to tee off five minutes early. Talk about a power trip! The course was more crowded than a mall on Black Friday, with a never-ending parade of teams waiting to tee off and play. It was like a bad case of the Mondays, but this experience was the absolute worst I've ever had at any course. The only saving grace was the Drink Cart lady, who was a ray of sunshine in an otherwise dismal day. She was friendly, professional, and served up ice-cold drinks that were a welcome relief from the chaos. But even her stellar service couldn't salvage the train wreck that was our golfing experience
Nice course, can be tough. Sandtraps contain no sand, its hardpan so don't bother using your wedge use a putter or take a drop out. Bar is nice and their food is great, with specials changing daily. Pro shop staff is friendly and helpful. Pace of play can be slow, but the rangers do a decent job of moving people along.
