Great design but as last poster wrote, the greens are horrible!!! Bumpy, thick and slow. Whoever determined the blade height of the mowers must not be a golfer. They are terrible. They should be cut down and rolled. I will not be back.
You could show up and play a 4 hour round or a 6 hour round. They don't enforce times and just send people out when the group on 1 gets out of range and then you wait at 2 tee for 20 minutes. The ranger schedule is silly as well. The greens are very slow, cut high and never rolled. Slow as could be. The shame of it is this could be a nice track with some attention by the greens keeper and the management. Better off to play at Bethpage. Still a slow round but the greens are ALWAYS amazing.
Large amounts of goose droppings all over many of the fairways and often the greens, too. No holes on the putting green...just plastic stakes. No rangers when you need them, and extremely overbearing ones when you don't (I had one park right behind me while I was hitting out of a bunker so that he could lecture me on where I parked my cart). Plan on a 5.5 hour round.
