Wow, this might be the worst course I've ever played. The layout is actually half-way decent, but the course is in absolutely terrible condition. The "fairways" are a combination of dirt with random patches of crab grass. The tee boxes look - and play - more like clay tennis courts. Despite the name and numerous bunkers on the course, none of the bunkers have actual sand in them; they're all either dirt or small rocks. The greens look good pretty good from 20 feet, but they don't roll true at all. And the course is filled with miscreants. We stopped by a half-way house after a few holes, and me and my friends were complaining (amongst ourselves) about the generally terrible conditions of the course - and the fact that it had taken about an hour to play 3 holes - when we were accosted by what I can only assume was a member(!!!) who screamed at us for complaining about the course. We basically tried not to engage the guy, and as we were walking away, he hurled a bunch of anti-semitic slurs in our direction. On the next tee box, we could hear him starting a fight with the group behind him over God-knows-what. Real classy. So, yes, you should play this course if you want to shell out $85+ for an absolute dog track, play a 6-hour round, and probably get beaten up by drunken, bigoted locals.
