Played this course for the first time in 2015 and it was ok. Played it again in 2019 and WOW what a difference. New greens, fairways and bunkers. This course is a hidden Gem. We joined the club the Spring of 2020.
Our group played Quail Ridge on May 12, 2015. The entire group thought the course was NOT in good condition and the fairways were poor. The greens were not bad as the bent grass survived a harsh winter for North Carolina quite well. The was the highlight of an otherwise rather dismal experience.Bunkers were acceptable; however, the tee boxes and fairways were not.On the front nine, a lot of the fairways were dirt or hard packed grass and weeds. The back side was slightly better but until a lot of warm weather can get grass growing, this is a course to avoid, even with a $15.00 GroupGolfer coupon.
