Excellent and fast greens. Not for beginners. Course management is the key. Long hitters watch out, you can make double or triple bogeys where you think you have a birdie chance if your drives are not accurate. Play long par 4 holes as par 5 and you might just make a par or a birdie. Nice scenery on many holes. Course overbooks during the weekends. Staff is nice. Beautiful course. Nice deep bunkers with lots of white sand. A lot of fun shots because you've almost always got an uphill or downhill shot. I have three very small trivial complaints. The rough isn't very deep (maybe 1.5 inches). The cart paths take are not very close to hitting area's making for a lot of long walks (whats the point of renting the cart if I gotta walk the whole course). My 3rd complaint is that they need to have an tee box between the the tips and the whites. The whites are to short for a 10 handicap (6331 yd) while the blacks are a bit to long (6904 yd). This really is a must play.
I used to play this course all the time when they offered a student rate. Now it's WAY too expensive and I won't play there again until they lower their rates. I mean come on! This economy is in a recession! No way should they be charging what they are charging to play there. There are nicer courses in this area that are cheaper than this place. Don't get me wrong, I really love this course, but now that they are charging out the butt to play there, I just can't play there anymore and I'm kinda bitter.
