Overall, I agree with all the complimentary things said about this course. Pace of play on this date, however, was awful. After a very slow front nine, we arrived at the 10th hole to discover a group on the green, a group in the fairway, a group on the tee, and two groups lined up waiting to get to the tee -- five groups on one hole. We left without finishing our round. While I may play this course again, I will be very careful to ask about the number and nature of groups signed up on the day we want to play. This may be just fine for ladies, slow seniors, just plain bad golfers, and the younger learners. It is not at all fine for a decent golfer who wants to finish a round in under 5 hours.
Really nice course, great layout, beautiful scenery. Staff is very friendly and the clubhouse is nice. It has a large attached grill/snack bar. Putting green sits right on #1 so you can see the #1 and #10 tee boxes while you wait. Fairways and greens were in excellent shape throughout. Cost: $30 bucks to ride 18 on a Thursday. It's as nice as any course in the area and definitely worth playing.
Good layout, good greens, well maintained, a must play if you're in the Greensboro area.
This course is great for every golfer. It offers chalenges at every corner and has a bright future. It is located in a nice area with a great pre-sunset on hole 3 if you're playing 9 holes with the family.
