I have played the course three times this year (spring, summer, & fall) and it has been in very good shape all 3 times through various conditions. Pretty typical for Aberdeen over the years in my opinion. Even in aerated condition, the greens putted fairly fast. Not a lot of amenities overall, for example limited food options and a small selection of golf gear available, but the staff is good and play always seems to move along pretty well. I haven't experienced any painful 5 hour rounds and I've played the course probably 15-20 times. There aren't very many links-type courses in the area, so if you like that sort of golf, I think you'll enjoy Aberdeen. I'm a 12 handicap, and from the tips it presents an excellent challenge (about 7000 yds)
