The course is difficult and rewards good shots. You can't beat the price in this area. You can walk on most times and the members are friendly. If you walk, you'd better be in good shape because the deep brook it's named after is 50 feet below the 2nd-3rd and 7th-8th holes. I recommend a cart, especially for 18. You'll find as many balls as you'll lose if you can't keep them in the fairway. Beware of the porcupines, turkeys and the occasional deer. It's within 5 minutes of the turnpike exit and a 9 hole round moves pretty quick. The unlisted price for a twilight round can't be beat in Southern Maine.
