Course is in good shape. Staff is professional. Excellent course for reasonable price
Nice course. Played Black Rock on a mild Saturday morning in July. This course is in excellent shape - good enough shape for a private course, let alone a muni.Black Rock is a par 72 layout that features quite a bit of hills and uneven lies. There is some water on the course, but not much. There are water carries for second (or third shots if you lay up) on holes 13 and 18. No real boring holes on the entire course. The fairways, rough and greens were in great shape. A fun round of golf.My golfing colleague paid for me, but I understand the course greens fees are reasonable. In summary, a recommended play if you are in the area.
