Review of EdgewoodSave your money and go somewhere else. I wouldn’t even call this a golf course - the fairways, tees, and rough all DEAD. You hit a great shot down the middle and your rewarded with hard compacted soil. The greens were in good shape but the entire rest of the course was awful! It really ruined the outing, especially considering they charged me $47 for 18 and a cart! What a ripoff I could have gone down the road to The Ranch and played an actual course for a few bucks more. To say this place is a dump is a MAJOR understatement and they should be embarrassed to call themselves a golf course. It’s on Sheep Pasture Road but sheep would die in this pasture because there was no grass to eat!! Oh and trees down all over from a storms weeks ago and instead of cleaning them up they just throw yellow caution tape around them. Like I said, go anywhere else and enjoy your round...and likely at a lower price. They removed my GOOGLE review somehow which means those reviews are basically worthless. Charging $47 to play on dirt is theft, it should be $20 mostly for the cart fee.
Edgewood has a interesting and sometimes challenging layout. Although not overly long, most fairways are tree lined making accurate tee shots a must. The hole layouts are varied with no blind tee shots! The greens are currently maintained very well for a public course. They are smooth and somewhat quick and run true with many having significant slopes front to back and side to side. Greens fees are very reasonable and the course can be played during the week for less than $25 (seniors less than $30 with cart).
