Played Holly Ridge on a windy and blustery day in November. Course was in pretty good shape, especially the greens and especially given the time of year. Holly Ridge is an 18 hole, par 3 course with holes ranging from 120 yards to 211 yards. The course meanders through a wooded area. My favorite hole was the 14th -- a long, downhill par 3. There is a full length driving range as well as a practice putting green. The course is not very difficult -- water only comes into play on one hole and most holes are not protected in the front by bunkers. It is a great test of your irons and short game. There is a restaurant that serves bar type food and cold beer. Bartender/waitress was very friendly. Beer prices were quite reasonable -- $3 for a pint of Bud Light and $3.70 for a Cape Cod lager (or lag-ah as the locals would say).Overall, a nice experience and recommended if you are in the area and want to play a par 3 course.
i love this course. played here severaltimes this year.not too difficult and the staff is very nice.
