Played 18 holes, and the greens are beautiful. The course is in great shape even during the winter. Terrific deal for the money. $36 for 18 holes with a gas cart 7AM to 12PM Mon to Fri.
The course was in terrible condition when I played it on 7/27. The fairways were 75% unplayable, the greens were terribly hard (most were entirely dirt, and seemingly painted green) and sand traps were filled with dirt and rocks instead of sand. The carts were old, and they were charging $2 per water (whereas most courses provide free water on hot days). I will not be going back, and would not recommend to a friend.
I play here pretty often. for 36 bucks walking on the weekend its the best deal around. right now the course is damp and greens are soft and in nice shape. Everything is pretty green right now. Could be maintained a little better for the weekend but I supose most courses mow mon-thurs anyhow.
Good course for value, greens are in good shape, fairways are tough. You wouldn't travel to play it.
Currently (July 2010) suffering from the wet spring. Lots of dead grass so the play is uneven and some of the fairways are not in good condition. When the course is in better shape, it is a fun track with some interesting holes. Water in play on a couple of holes. Compact layout so good for walking but it means you hear a lot of conversation from other golfers.
