Country Club was purchased by the homeowners December 26, 2014. Since this time the golf course and facility have had many improvements and upgrades. If you have not played this course in several years, you really need to come back and play. New Zoysia tees, pond on hole #5, and several bunkers have been improved on the course. These are just a few of the changes on the golf course since 2015.

Tees are pretty much bare dirt. Poanna is so bad in greens and when it dies out in summer nothing but bare earth. Bunkers are not well kept. Greens are in bad shape. Somerset Country Club has some of the best greens I have ever putted on. SCC have built some new tees and added distance. Fairways are in excellant condition as are the tees. The best value in town for the money.

This course has a great layout and some really fun holes, but something has happened to their greens and all of them are eaten up - bare spots and patched sod everywhere, and no such thing as a good or true roll. Give this one a year or two to recover before teeing it up...
