In a word....average. Hunter golf club doesn't provide anything exciting nor does it have any real negatives either. There aren't any unique holes and it's not all that challenging, simply up and back side to side. Keep it halfway straight and you will definately shoot a good score. With the lack of any true obstacles course management was really easy. I didn't mind the soft sandy fairways as it provided a lot of give on your iron shots, however, it was a little problematic on tee shots since your tee routinely gave way on impact causing some loss of distance and control. The value of $21 to walk weekday winter rates peak hours isn't great but not bad either, just fair. The greens rolled true and played slow. They do have logo balls, a big plus. This course just doesn't have anything to write home about. It's worth a play once, but that's about it. Overall rating B-.
