Nice course.Mayacoo Lakes is a nice, well maintained, tight course located in the Breakers West neighborhood. The course features water, lots of sand bunkers and it is a quite a tough test of golf. Especially punishing if you are not hitting crisp shots, as yours truly fully experienced on a recent Tuesday morning.The course was in great shape. My buddy got us on this course as part of a reciprocal arrangement with another club. Water comes into play on many holes and on several holes, you need to clear agua to reach the green. So if you hit a ball thin or fat, bring a calculator along to add up your score because you probably will find some kind of hazard.My favorite hole was #11, a par 4. The hole is very narrow with OB on the left side and water on the right, funneling to a narrow opening to the green. A nice test of golf. Honorable mention to the finishing hole, a par 4, with a second shot (or third shot if you need to lay up) over water to the green.The staff was very friendly, the locker rooms were first class, the practice range was excellent and this round of golf was an overall good time, despite the damage done to my handicap.A recommended play if you can get on.
