As a beginner golfer I was treated as if I had been going here for 20 years. I am new to golf (played less than 20 rounds) and I was amazed at how friendly and knowledgeable Captain Buck was. Long story short, I had paid for 18 holes thinking I had paid for only 9. I ended up forgetting my wallet in the cart and upon returning to pick it up, Buck asked me how many holes I had played and informed me that I could still play 9 holes. He knew I was a beginner to golf and I had no idea I had been charged for 18. I would have walked out of there not knowing the difference, but Buck had the character to speak up and offer a refund or to play another 9 the following day with the cart and bags included. We did end up returning and had more fun the second day than we did on the first. Buck was there again the next day helping to teach my cousin and I about different items around the pro shop as well as any other general golf questions. He also makes a mean mixed drink, so watch out! I have extended family with properties in the area that I will 100% be suggesting this golf course to in the future and I will return when on vacation as well. 10/10 time. Captain Buck also offers snorkeling tours as well so you should ask him about that before you leave.
Greens in good shape. Overall maintenance is fine.
