Played course 2/24/14. It was a nice track and in good condition. It cost $200 for the round. If I pay that kind of money, I want EVERYTHING to be a good experience. Here were the negatives: 1. no towels to wipe your sweaty hands from humidity 2. no free bottles of water in cart like most other nice courses 3. no GPS in the golf carts 4. noisy, smelly, old gas powered golf carts instead of newer electric ones 5. they told us we could NOT use the range after our round of golf only before the round!!!!! I have NEVER been told that by any decent golf course around the country!!! Overall, it is NOT worth the $$$$. It is a $100-150 experience all day. Wouldn't go back when there are better deals out there....!!! I am an 8 hdcp.
A memorable course and a great test of golf. Difficult, yet fair. Narrow, but playable. In great shape. Greens seem a bit slow for Naples. Great practice facilities. No clubhouse, no food. Not even a boiled hot dog.
What a great deal to play this TPC golf course. It is the best I've Played in Naples, Florida. When I drove in to this place I knew the course was going to be great. A Man a the gate greeted me and asked for the my name and tee time. From there a two mile drive back to the course. Wow, who lives here? The Staff was top notch. The course is another, Wow. The 18th hole reminded me of Pebble Beach #18, but this one goes to the right. Know houses on the golf course which is awesome. The Par 3's are the best and a whopping 649 yard par 5 #12 is the best view of the course. I could play it everyday and twice on Sunday.
I've played all the private clubs in Naples including the highly rated Calusa Pines and I must say that this course is #2 overall. A big statement I know. This course is open to the public for the next couple of years and then I'm sure 6 figures to join. The staff here was fantastic, especially David. He made us feel like a member for the day and our group just loves to be spoiled with kindness. The course has everything a player wants to see. The practice facility is diffidently TPC, with Titleist pro v1 and NXT Tour range balls. It's the MECCA of driving ranges. A grow mans Playground, as one player put it in our group. Water on about half the holes. Plush, bright green grass all throughout the course with natural cart paths that flow into the surrounding wild life. We normally play from the tips, but 7400 yards in Naples with 20 MPH winds set us one tee in at 6900 yards, Perfect. The greens where running at about 9 1/2 on the stimp meter. Which was perfect for pace of play and the undulating greens. This course is the #1 public golf course in Naples hands down.
Magnificent golf course which is highly recommended. Customer service was 1st class (Mark was a star), very friendly and helpful. Yardage chart and bottled water supplied with cart, rates very reasonable. This has become a must play again for me in this area. Course challenging and in excellent condition, played in July which is off season, so course was quiet which allowed good pace of play. Whilst it made no difference to me, the clubhouse shown on the website is not complete so play is from temporary buildings, also there was no drinks cart on the day I played, but hole 9 is back at shop, and with water already in cart this was no problem (unless you need a beer on the way round) Definitely my favourite course in the area and one I will play again & again, don't miss it!!
