We called ahead and specifically asked if we could get the round of golf in with our starting tee time at 3:10 pm. Sunset was at 7:08 pm. The woman in the pro shop said no problem. When we got to the 4th hole, there was a elder twosome in front of us , playing from the front tees. They hadn't teed off yet. A foursome was in the middle of the fairway. We already passed through a group with 5 golfers, yes 5. They were walking. They were very nice and let us though on number 2. We decided to quit, knowing we couldn't finish by sunset. We went to the pro shop and expressed our concern after being told finishing by sunset was " no problem ". The guy in the pro shop was insistent that we would have finished by sunset and offered a prorated " rain check ". I will go back for our prorated " rain check " but will not play here again due to principal. She wasn't clear with us from the start. A simple, I'm sorry and a full " rain check " was all we needed.
