We (my friends and I (12 in all)) played this course as part of our golf package which was set up using Pams Golf in Ocean City, MD. The course was about 1/2 hour from our hotel in Ocean City MD. When we pulled up to the gates the first thought running through my mind was ritzy and "Oh My God, these people are going to be so snobbish. On the contrary, from the guard at the gate, to the bag drop gentlemen and the folks in the pro shop and full service restaraunt, we were treated with respect and friendly smiles. The pro shop had a pretty good selection of clothing items at all prices as well as a good assortment of shoes etc.Difficulty: It is pretty tough to grade the difficulty of this course. The day we played the wind was probably blowing a steady 25 mph or better. I personally have never played in such high wind. I think if the wind was less, this course would have played a bit easier. However; don't shy away from it even if you are a beginner. Everything was great, from the tee boxes to the greens. Greens rolled pretty true and were very fast.Maintenance - It appears as if the maintenance staff stays right on top of everything. As I stated earlier, the carts were clean and in excellent condition and the course itself was immaculate.Scenery - The scenery wasn't quite what I expected. There are homes all around the golf course, but they are beautiful. There are plenty of holes with water and other floral/botanical things which make it very pretty. Definately not the ugliest course I have ever played.Value - My friends and I played this course as part of a golf package which we organized through Pams Golf in Ocean City, MD. Based on what we paid for the package, and the fact that this is a private course, I am sure we got a great deal.Overll - We do a golf trip to OC every year. Hopefully we can play this course again next year and the wind won't be so bad. If you are going to do a golf package to OC, please, by all means include this as one of your courses. It is well worth the drive from OC.
