I play this course approximately 3 times a week. I have been a Gold Member for 7-10 years. The staff are very friendly. The do not enforce any dress code or behavior codes. The condition of the greens has deteriorated and a quest of mine recently referred to the bunkers as "gravel Quarries". The waste bunker on hole 12 and 15 have better sand than the bunker on hole 6. The Bunker on hole 6 is nearly hard pan. The bunker condition will totally destroy a set of wedges within three rounds of play. I have two views of cost. #1 if the product merits the cost then the project is worth the cost to play. #2 if the cost is high but the quality of the course is poor. then then why pay the cost? Higher cost eliminate those who do not respect the course. Lower cost courses, generally have plays with no regard to dress code, poor course behavior, and reuslts in poor course management. The course should have a started at all times, and an on course player assistant. The player assistant should kindly, polity tell players when they violate rules. There names (via the cart signed out to them) should be kept on record. I will bet, that most people do not mind paying for quality and an enjoyable round of golf.
I like this coure and when the wind is blowing, it can be an absolute bear. The finishing holes on both 9's are great. Pro Shop folks are very nice and accomodating. Great value in the early afternoon.
