Played the course 6 years ago and loved it for its beauty and terrain. Came back this year to Green Valley just for this course to find it in terrible shape. From tee boxes to fairways to the awful greens this beautiful design has been allowed to decline into shambles. Paid 33 dollars to play it and didn't consider it a good value. Very sad!!!!! New owners are needed to bring this course back to it's potential.
First round here this season.Compared to previous times things have gone downhill---fast.Seems like they quit spending money for upkeep.Greens are horrible.Priced too high.Time for new management
The course was in the worst shape I have ever seen it. Greens were terrible. Weeds in the fairways. Dead areas that used to be fairways. Not enjoyable at all.
Great, REAL desert course: Miss the fairway and you deal with sharp things -- snake fangs included. 6-year old course is still thin in the fairways. Some greens heavily pitch-marked, also hard and fast with only a few soft enough to hold high approach shots. Bump and run is the ticket. Indeed, consider using putter instead of short chips.Staff needs to open pro shop on time in morning.
